So here's the Love Cheese Live Show again, one of my favorite events of the year!
Love cheese live is one of the largest cheese and foodie festivals in the UK. You can see your favourite celebrity chefs and experts cooking LIVE, sample and enjoy delicious food, wander through hundreds of artisan producers where you can buy amazing products.
I'm proud to be one of the Ambassadors of the show, along with a few other fantastic people from the food industry.

So after months of preparation, the show is here. Over Wednesday and Thursday the stands are popping up and the cheese is arriving and been judged. You have to see it to believe it but i can quite honestly say, I've never seen so much cheese!
This year we decided to run our own "Ambassadors Choice Awards" so this involves each Ambassador to choose their favorite cheese from the past award winners. Mine was a no brainer, Delamere spreadable soft goats cheese. There's a story behind this. Last year our stands were next to each other, people were going wild running between stands pairing the goats cheese with our smoked salmon. I have to say, it was delicious! So with this in mind and thinking a bit of smoked salmon bribes on the side would help us win the award. Unfortunately we came 3rd but i met some lovely people while we were sampling the cheeses and one amazing person left this on the ballot card. If this is you, thank you so much!

If this little dog had brought his wallet, i think he would have been our biggest customer! He went into a frenzy after i fed him smoked salmon and refused to leave the stand until he did me out of the remaining samples. Puppy owners, if your reading this, i apologize if your dog has stopped eating his usual food in favour of smoked salmon.
So, the world's leading International Cheese Awards is wrapped up for another year. I'd just like to finish the blog by saying a big thank you to all of the fantastic people that i had the pleasure of meeting at the show, not only this year but 2021 also. Your support means a great deal to me and i wouldn't be here without you.
